]]>The offense was crummy; undermined by poor line play. A No. 2 receiver and running back have yet to emerge while the quarterback was erratic. Special teams made mistakes. If not for a standout defense, the 23-3 loss to Baltimore on Saturday would have been flat out embarrassing.

Help doesn’t seem on the way for the offense. Santana Moss, Chris Cooley, Fred Davis and Clinton Portis are once more than playmakers without anyone else helping. So much for an offseason of adding depth.
