Redskins ranked 23rd by SI

Sports Illustrated’s Peter King knows as much about the NFL as anybody. But, his opinion is the same as anyone else’s — up for grabs.

King ranks the Washington Redskins 23rd in the NFL. I think that’s a little harsh. They’re looking 8-8 or so with a top 5 defense. If Jason Campbell plays well they could win 9 or 10 games. I would put the Redskins somewhere between 14-20.

But, it’s something to discuss. King has New England first, which is possible if Tom Brady is healthy. Pittsburgh, New York Giants, Chicago and Indianapolis round out the top 5. I think Chicago isn’t a top 5 team even with Jay Cutler.
