It’s one thing to lose. Washington sports fans are using to watching that. I mean, two straight 100-loss baseball seasons and the Wizard’s worst season ever — it’s amazing anyone still cares about those teams.
But the Redskins now have a half season remaining with no hope of a turnaround. They’re losing top players by the game. They can’t even spend time developing what little young talent they have because who knows what system the next coach will use.
My Washington Examiner column simply asks: is it time for Washingtonians to do something else on Sundays?
