Haynesworth avoids jail

Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth received three months probation, 25 hours of community service and ordered to make a $5,000 contribution to a charity by a Tennessee judge after pleading no contest to a reckles driving charge.

The real penalty will come in a civil trial where the man Haynesworth drove off the road when driving triple digits has sued for $7.5 million. The man needed a hip replacement from the accident so Haynesworth’s move today ensures that poor guy is getting paid.

Not exactly the image the Redskins wish to project.
