Livan returns — about time

I’ve wanted the Nationals to re-sign Livan Hernandez ever since he left in 2006. He has since beaten them so often it’s a way of getting a few games better by just not facing him.

Hernandez is still the current Nats all-time winningest pitcher with 24, which is a pretty low benchmark. He reminds me a little of Luis Tiant, a smart pitcher who didn’t have the best stuff but could fool you. He’s a lot of fun to watch.

I think it’s a good move and Rizzo seems to be on track to turn things around
