Glenn Donnellan, who plays violin for the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, made his own instrument from a baseball bat. There’s talk the Nationals may use him to play before one game, which would make their sorry evenings almost worthwhile.
Donnellan was profiled in the Washington Post after seeing his video on YouTube.
A friend gave me fresh crabs right out of the water last night so I’m heading towards them, then an afternoon barbecue and fireworks tonight if it doesn’t rain.
